The organplaying wood (Compositie in groen)

Acryl op doek, 75 x 115 cm

Young girls lie bedded soft
or glide in their dreams, with rings and trousseaux,
bridesmaided by glowworms down the aisles of the
organplaying wood. The boys are dreaming wicked or of the
bucking ranches of the night and the jollyrodgered sea. And
the anthracite statues of the horses sleep in the fields,
and the cows in the byres, and the dogs in the wetnosed
yards; and the cats nap in the slant corners or lope sly,
streaking and needling, on the one cloud of the roofs.

Dit is de opdracht:
Groenen, structuren.. Gaande van een realistische tuinopname of landschap tot een imaginaire jungle... Spannend!

Ik heb een van Elly's foto's genomen als uitgangspunt. Een krulwilg hier in de tuin - beter bekend als "de boom van de pad" - omdat in de oude knoestige stam, in één donkere holte een pad haar huis gevonden heeft.
Eerst toon ik een foto van de foto, dan een aantal schetsen in een schriftje.
